            Varsity Couture started in 2004 out of the garage of Massel's home. The two women were literally freezing at their son's baseball game that fateful spring, and left the field to go home and tinker with a warm fleece garment. That led to a turn of events where their friends seeing the garments wanted some for themselves‚¬¦ and the orders began. "We knew we had a market when people wanted to literally take the ponchos from our backs," says the co-founding duo.
